Misha Collins Celebrates Castiel’s 16th Anniversary on Supernatural
Misha Collins recently shared a heartfelt tribute on the 16th anniversary of his character, Castiel’s, introduction to the beloved series, Supernatural. Castiel made his first appearance in the premiere of the show’s fourth season, which aired on September 18, 2008, on The CW. Throughout the series, Castiel played a crucial role in assisting the Winchester brothers, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles), in their quest to vanquish monsters, demons, and ghosts.
On Instagram, Collins posted an image of himself in character as Castiel, donning the iconic suit and trench coat ensemble that became synonymous with the character. The photo features Castiel against a blue backdrop, holding an array of dark blue, light blue, and silver balloons.
